Next Generation VAS platform (NG-VAS Platform) has a modular architecture. That modular is dividing in several levels; there are Migration Layer, Media Processing, Application Server and Connectivity Interface. For detail can see in this picture below.

•       Migration Layer:

Provide interfacing function to traditional network, such as PSTN/PLMN with E1/SS7 interfacing

•       Media Processing:

Provide processing voice stream (RTP) function, there are Play, Record, DTMF detection,etc

•       Application Server:

Service logic for various VAS application, such as: VoiceMail, VideoMail, VoiceSMS,VideoSMS, IP Conferencing, Ring Back Tone, Background Music, etc.

•       Connectivity:

Provide interfacing to existing back office server, such as Billing System, SMS, MMS, Email, etc
